What We Do: An Integrated Approach
Integrate
You can’t be an expert at everything…
Focus on doing a few things and do them exceptionally well.

The board simply refuses to make any calls on prospective major donors. Is this a governance or a fund-raising issue? The website is continuously out-of-date. Is this a management or a communications problem? Volunteers are giving less and less time, necessitating more and more paid staffing. Is this a financial or a volunteer relations challenge?
In all cases, they are both, of course. Nonprofit organizations rarely face problems which fall neatly into one functional area. On the contrary, nonprofit leaders usually face challenges which are multi-dimensional.
Recognizing this reality, OD180 works across these functional lines, taking a comprehensive and integrated approach. We work on matters of management and governance, organization development and resource development. This is not to foolishly assert that we are experts in all things. Rather, it is a matter of using the insight our experience has given us: that many of a nonprofit’s greatest challenges are multi-dimensional and inter-related.
