The principal of od180, he has led organizations in need of a turn-around for more than two decades.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Key Accomplishments

  • Reorganized the operations of New York City’s largest private charitable feeding program, Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, allowing for the agency to double the daily number of individuals served

  • Re-launched a GLBT advocacy organization following a near-fatal public relations disaster, eventually leading it to a level of positive recognition such that two sister groups were founded in other locations

  • Revitalized the Church of St. John the Evangelist which had been vulnerable to closure, putting in place protocols that promoted congregational growth and overseeing a capital campaign that resulted in the total rehabilitation of the physical plant

  • Restructured a social service agency headed toward insolvency and returned it to budgetary balance as well as unqualified licensure through the preparation and implementation of a strategic plan with programmatic, development, and administrative components

  • Established a development office at an institution preparing for a period of substantial growth, putting in place planned giving, annual fund, and volunteer programs.

In all the places he has worked, he has been noted for his passionate public speaking and his mentorship of emerging leaders. He is a priest of the Episcopal Church and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
