All projects proceed according to terms stipulated in a Service Agreement. However, a Service Agreement is itself the culmination of a brief yet important process which typically includes the following steps.

  1. The prospective client makes an initial inquiry and describes the situation which has led to investigating seeking outside counsel.
  2. David Norgard conducts an initial interview with the client representative to ascertain the client’s desired outcomes as well as the challenges being confronted. (There is no charge for this initial meeting and no further obligation on the part of the inquirer.)
  3. On the basis of the initial inquiry, initial interview, and review of supporting documents (if any), David Norgard prepares a draft Service Agreement for the prospective client’s consideration.
  4. The client representative and David Norgard review the draft Service Agreement and revise as appropriate.
  5. The Service Agreement is finalized and the project commences.
